Fish Vaccines

Ducks_and_poultry_1600x1050Emergency fish vaccines, which are also known as autogenous vaccines, are derived from the disease causing bacteria isolated from your fish and are formulated specifically to control bacterial infections in your fish.

Vibrio sp. vaccines for the control of vibriosis in Sea Bass, Sea Bream and ornamental fish.

Yersinia ruckeri vaccines for the control of enteric redmouth disease in salmon and trout.

Flavobacterium psychrophilum vaccines for the control of “bacterial cold water disease” (BCWD) and rainbow trout fry syndrome (RTFS) in salmon and trout.

Tenacibaculum maritinum vaccines for the control of marine flexibacteriosis in farmed fish.

Photobacterium damseliae vaccine for the control of pastuerellosis in Sea Bass and Sea Bream.

We are able to produce specific mono or poly-valent fish vaccines containing combinations of the above pathogens that can be extremely effective in combating infections caused by these organisms.  The use of poly-valent vaccines reduces labour costs at vaccination and also reduces fish handling and the associated stress to the fish.
